at Princess camp, for 4-6 year olds, we played our version of 'Musical
Chairs'. Dancers stood on SpotDots placed on the floor in a circle. Each
time music was on dancers moved to the next SpotDot with a traveling
step directed by the teacher (walk on toes w/ butterfly arms, chasse,
skip fwd/bkwd, two footed bunny jumps, leaps, ect) when music stopped
the dancer on the blue butterfly SpotDot chose a ballet card from the
middle of circle, performed the step or position and all others did same
while facing mirror. Dance game exercise continued until all had a
turn. To do without the cards, the dancer could be told a position/step
to do or could choose one on their own. This exercise incorporates
traveling movements, memory and replication of steps, matching lines and
movement, working and moving together, following directions and and can
to serve expand the dance students musicality.</font></h2>

Welcome

Welcome to my blog.
